Prior to joining Krasnow Saunders Cornblath in January, 2001, Fred practiced in Chicago and New York for more than twenty years with Seyfarth Shaw where he was a partner for many years. Fred's practice focuses on commercial real estate development, finance, leasing, transactional and land use work and he is also a recognized expert on the public accommodation and real estate provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Fred has represented nearly 200 clients, including many Fortune 500 companies, on a wide range of ADA issues, including, most recently, on the applicability of the ADA to the Internet. Fred has authored many articles and is a frequent speaker on a variety of ADA and real estate topics. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Retail Law Strategist and has acted as the lead instructor for BOMA/Chicago's Law and Risk Management course. Fred was selected pursuant to an attorney peer review process as an Illinois Super Lawyer (Real Estate, 2007), and was also selected by his peers in 2007 as being among Illinois' Leading Lawyers in the areas of Commercial Real Estate and Land Use/Zoning/Condemnation.
